Case Study

Port Hope, ON

A 70’s bungalow was reimagined with a modern twist.

Once a bungalow with 3 apartments, this project took on the task of converting the home back into a single family dwelling.   The top to bottom renovation included modifications to the exterior, new windows and doors, and a completely revamped floor plan.

Special attention was given to the property’s vistas of the rural countryside through incorporating a neutral palette and using windows to create an indoor/outdoor connection.

The large, open concept floor plan allows the client’s ample space for entertaining when they are not busy as a family with 2 small kids.

I never imagined living in a home that allows 360 degree views of the countryside that are visible from almost every room. Ash+Acre was key on this lengthy project and it could not have been completed successfully without them.
